John Ralph McCauley III, “Jack,” was born Nov. 12th 1958 in Milwaukee WI, and entered the gates of heaven on January 16, 2021.

Jack was born in Milwaukee to parents John & Charlotte (Schueller) McCauley. He graduated from Messmer High School in 1977. He attended UW-Milwaukee, graduating in 1982 with an accounting degree. They moved to Delavan, WI in 1984 and Freeport, IL in 1985. They settled in Germantown, WI in 1988. He worked for Novozymes as a production manager for 30 years.

Jack was a faithful and obedient man in all aspects of his life. He also coached many baseball, basketball and soccer teams for his children. He showed obedience to the Lord by being a faithful husband and devoted father and grandfather; as well as a wonderful son, brother, nephew and friend to many. He inherited his father’s love for Beaver Island and was proud to own a very small piece of it. He did get to enjoy his short retirement by helping his daughters’ with their home improvement projects. An evening listening to his son play the guitar was his favorite entertainment.  Jack will also be remembered for his sense of humor, still evident during his last years despite his struggles. His children and many of their friends affectionately referred to him as “Papa Elf.”

He is survived by Lori (Fiedler), his wife of 38 years. Surviving children include: Megan (Tyler) Brownfield, Molly (Paul) Vara, Sadie (Peter) Studer, and Johnny McCauley.
