WAUWATOSA-(nee Siersbeck) Age 81.  Born to Eternal Life on Saturday, January 16, 2021.  Beloved wife for 60 years of Luther.  Dear mother of the late Eric, Dana (Marissa) and Diane (Bob) Koremenos.  Loving grandmother of Katelyn and Lauren Koremenos and Noah Kloth.  Dear sister of Beverly Hodges.  Further survived by her cousin, Beverly Bluemel, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Siersbeck.   

Visitation Friday, January 22, 2021 from 10:00am until Time of Service at 12:00 Noon at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa.  Private interment Wauwatosa Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to N.A.M.I. or St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa appreciated. 

Doris was born February 4, 1939 in Indianapolis, IN to Anker and Dorothy Siersbeck.  She graduated from Dana College in Blair, NE where she met Luther.  Doris and Luther raised their family in Wauwatosa where she taught at Washington Elementary until her retirement. She enjoyed swimming, hiking, skiing, baking, gardening, traveling and giving gifts to her family and friends.  Doris was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa.  She fundraised for annual NamiWalks events, generating record-breaking amounts in memory of her late son, Eric. Doris dedicated herself to sewing mittens every year in order to raise funds for the Meal Ministry, Just One More and N.A.M.I.  Her laugh, her generosity, her thoughtfulness and her strong faith will be missed by all who knew her.
