Patricia Neumann  October 2, 1950 – April 5, 2021

Patricia (Pat) Neumann passed away on Monday April 5, 2021 after a long and difficult battle with esophageal cancer. Pat was born in Stockport, England, and was the first born of four children.  Pat’s parents were John and Nancy Percival. Pat met her husband, Robert Neumann in England when she was 16 years old. They had their first 3 children while they lived in England. They moved to America in 1974, and set up their homestead in Milwaukee, WI. They had 2 more children over the next few years. Eventually they found their way to Slinger, Wisconsin where they took up residency. Pat and Robert were married 47 years at the time of Robert’s death in 2018.

Pat kept busy raising all 5 children and running the household. From the 1980s and on she worked at Woolworth, Inc. and later, Footlocker. She retired in 2018 from FIS, where she worked in Production Control as a Systems Operation Analyst. In between her chemo treatments, Pat took up knitting again, which was one of her hobbies she enjoyed in years past. She made many hats, sweaters, and afghans for her children, grandchildren, and sister.

She and Robert loved traveling all over the United States from FL to SD to AZ, and several States in between. But they always found themselves traveling to one of their favorite places...Las Vegas, NV. Pat enjoyed watching the Vegas shows, shopping, dining, and playing the slots in hopes of winning that big jackpot!  They also traveled to Canada and various parts of Europe, especially Pat’s hometown in England to visit family whenever they could.

Despite the arduous and painful 4-year journey of battling this horrible disease, Pat somehow always managed to keep a positive outlook and a beautiful smile on her face. While Pat struggled and was scared as hell at first with her cancer diagnosis, she was not going to let this diminish her spirit. She was so strong, brave, and courageous. She fought like a warrior and never gave up during her 4 years of chemo, radiation, and hospital stays. She was an inspiration, and a hero to so many without even knowing it. Towards the end, Pat accepted her fate with dignity and grace.

God saw you getting tired.

A cure was not to be,

So He put his arms around you

And whispered, “come with me”.

With tearful eyes we watched you

And saw you fade away.

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating.

Your tender hands at rest,

God took you home to prove to us

He only takes the best.

Now that her battle with cancer is over, Pat can rest peacefully. We will all miss her tremendously and she will forever be in our hearts and minds.

Pat is survived by her children, Wayne (Shari) Neumann, Tracey (Patrick) Schmit, Bobbie (Chong) Neumann-Yi, Jennie Neumann, and Ricky Neumann, and her grandchildren Sean Maddocks, Steven Maddocks, Jessica Neumann, Jordan Neumann, Megan Yi, Nicala Schmit, Trent Schmit, Jonny Yi, Kailey Neumann, Taylor Higbee, Lucas Higbee, Collin Neumann, Ashley Yi, Noah Zschogner, Gabby Neumann, Brayden Zschogner, and one great-grandchild, Mason Maddocks. Pat is further survived by her two sisters, Diane (Jeff) Greenwood and Sherida (Steve) Holt, as well as by her niece and nephew Kelly James and Michael (Helen) James, along with her two great-nieces and nephew Chloe James, Alysha James, and Alan James.
