Passed peacefully on April 14, 2021 at the age of 77. Devoted dad of Kent (Melissa), Brad (Kate) and Alicia. Proud grandpa of Kyle, Cal, Elle, Ava, Katrina and Eli. Brother of Larry, Stan, and Alice (the late Ray) Lauer. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Sid worked in the Menomonee Falls School District for 36 years as a teacher, high school principal, middle school principal and director of human resources.  In his retirement, he started ACT Prep Plus/WI Test Prep, providing classes and tutoring to several area school districts preparing students for ACT college entrance test.  Sid was an active member of the Menomonee Falls Scholarship Foundation and Optimist Club.

Visitation will be Saturday May 1, 2021 at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 10am - 1pm.

Memorials to the family will be donated to the Menomonee Falls Scholarship and Education Foundation.
