Passed away peacefully September 7, 2021. He was 85 years old.

Roy was born on August 28, 1936, to Raymond and Pauline Hoerig in St. Lawrence, WI. He is survived by his children, John (Jeanine) Hoerig of Menomonee Falls, and Julie (Edward) Kammerer of St. Joseph Missouri, six grandchildren, Wayne and Nicholas Hoerig, and Jacob, Kyle, Claudia and Clare Kammerer. He is further survived by one sibling, Sister Ruth Hoerig of the School Sisters of St. Francis, and by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Pauline (Konrath) Hoerig, brothers, Ervin (Arlene) Hoerig, and Harvey (Elizabeth) Hoerig, sister LaVerne (Harold) Feucht, and son, David Hoerig.

Roy was a long-time employee at Sentry Foods in Menomonee Falls. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle soul who loved spending time at family gatherings. He enjoyed his prized car collection, driving in the country, shopping, listening to polka music, feeding and watching the birds, and relaxing with his pet cat, "Kitty."

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 11 at St. Mary's Mother of God Parish, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave., Menomonee Falls at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be at the Church from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass. Entombment will follow the Mass at St. Mary's Mother of God Cemetery, Menomonee Falls.
