MILWAUKEE-Born to Eternal Life on Monday, January 17, 2022. Age 89. Beloved husband of the late June Madritsch (nee Norton) who preceded him in death in July of 2021. Dear father of Mark (Kim) Madritsch, Barbara (Bob) Hoefler and Sharon (Dennis) Sprenger. Loving grandfather of Jason (Michelle) Madritsch, Jeremy (Nicole) Madritsch, Katherine and Katelyn Madritsch; Shawn (Amy) Hoefler and Rebekah (Nicholas) Bower; and his great-grandchildren, Victoria, Gracelyn, Hailey, Kaden, Mason, Ben and Brooklyn. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ken was retired as a Fire Fighter from the Milwaukee Fire Department where he served for 33 years. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, being outside and spending time with his family. Ken will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 1:00pm until Time of Memorial Service at 2:00pm at St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, 2028 N. 60th Street, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Fire Department Museum and Historical Society, 1615 W. Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215 appreciated.
