Rebecca Hess Ulik, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 7, 2022. She is already tremendously missed by the surviving members of her family: Matthew and Nathan Ulik, her two sons whom she adored, her mother, Beth Hess, Of Germantown, Wisconsin, her father, Winter Hess, of Lakeland, Florida, and her dear sister, Gwen Hess (Auntie Gwen), of Concord, California.

Becky was born in Waukesha and spent most of her early childhood years in Marinette. After moving to the Germantown area, she finished her junior and senior high school years at Germantown High School. She was a gifted athlete, excelling in both softball and volleyball. In 1991, her G-town volleyball team qualified for the state championship meet.

After high school, Becky worked in the mortgage banking industry. She then married and started a family. While her boys were still young, Becky went back to school and obtained a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin at Platteville, graduating in 2015. At the time of her passing, Becky was working as a team leader for Kwik Trip in Cedarburg.

Becky was a devoted mother, committed to ensuring the happiness of her sons. She enthusiastically supported their interests...football for Matthew and go-kart racing for Nathan. She will continue to cheer for them from heaven.

A Visitation will be held at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave., Menomonee Falls on Monday August 15. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with family between the hours of 4 and 7 PM.
