(Nee Gares)  Went home on September 25, 2022 at the age of 81 years.  Beloved wife of Frank for 62 years.  Loving mother of Kathryn (Thomas) Stark and Jean Oliver.  Dear grandma of Bethany (Steve) Cohen, Abigail (Frank) Williams, Sarah (Gabe) Foley and Gunnar Stark.  Great grandma of 6.  Sister of Jack (Sylvia) Gares and the late First Lieutenant Lawrence Gares.  Sister-in-law of Frances (Charlie Van Ameyden) Ilnicky Van Ameyden.  Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the Funeral Home from 5 PM until the time of Funeral Service at 7 PM.  Private family burial at Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Monarch Watch www.monarchwatch.org or The American Cancer Society appreciated.  

Mary was a dedicated employee of Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital for 45 years.
