Jean Agnes Zastrow
March 7, 1924 - January 25, 2023

Jean A. Zastrow (nee Held) passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 25,2023 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Zastrow. Loving mother of Gary (Roxanne), Alan (Lori) and Karen (Paul) Williams. Proud grandma of Brian (Nicole) Williams, Laura (Joshua) Peters, Michelle (Philip) Pecora and great-grandmother of Samantha, Jack, Charlotte, William, Harrison and Mackenzie. While Jean has outlived her generation, she still leaves behind many cherished family members and friends.
Jean started her love for fishing with her dad as a young girl, she continued that with her own family in their yearly fishing trip to Canada. She loved animals, especially her Golden retrievers but most of all she loved her family. Jean married the love of her life when she was only nineteen and waited for him to return from war to start their family together. They had three children who were her whole world. They instilled a love for the outdoors and adventure in them with family vacations including (but not limited to) road trips out west, Alaska, Disney World, and fishing and camping trips to WI, MN, MO and Canada. She loved her children's spouses as her own, and when her family expanded even further with the birth of grandbabies and great grandbabies, life was even sweeter. She help care for her grandchildren when they were young and joined them on many adventures as well growing up. She took great joy in snuggling her great-grandchildren and watching them grow. Family was everything to her. Jean was the epitome of a kind soul, with a sweet tooth and just the right amount of spunk.
