Vickey L. Guthrie (nee Crouch)

Of Big Bend, was called home by her Lord and Savior on August 13, 2023 surrounded by her family at the age of 66.  She is survived by her loving husband Gary Guthrie of 45 years; loving mom of Theresa (Rob) Schultz, Melissa (Matt) Zlensky, and Karissa (Richie) Walsh; proud grandma of Madalynn, Mason, Makinley, Ainsley, Annalynn, and one grandchild on the way.  She is further survived by her mother-in-law Marilyn Guthrie, siblings Willis “Sonny” (Clylene) Crouch, Bobby (Wendy) Crouch, Debra (Mike) Crouch-Behrendt, Steve (Gina) Crouch and Greg (Michelle) Guthrie, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents Willis and Arlene Crouch, father-in-law David Guthrie, grandson Evan, a brother Charles Crouch and a sister-in-law Gail Minor.

Vickey worked for Chicago Title Insurance Co. for many years.  She enjoyed sewing, going camping, travelling, baking, and the Packers, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home (930 Main St. Mukwonago) from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  There will be additional Visitation on Monday at the Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow at Vernon Presbyterian Cemetery.  

The family would like to give a special thanks to all of the staff at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa for all of the care they provided for Vickey and her family.
