Of Glendale. Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the age of 51 years. Beloved husband of Sandy (nee Whittow). Dear father of Ian. Son of Ervin and JoAnn Kontowicz. Brother of Chris (Gail) and Jenny (Bob) Ruditys. Son-in-law of Larry and Mary Whittow. Brother-in-law of Scott (Kris) Whittow. Uncle of Ady, Kez and Trevor. Further survived by other relatives and friends. 

Friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Friday, August 9 from 5 PM to the time of a Celebration of Mike’s Life at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be deeply appreciated. 

Mike was a lifelong musician. Music was his passion and

 a driving influence in his life.
