Found Eternal Peace on Friday February 3, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Loving husband of Kathleen "Toots" (nee Hartung). Wonderful dad of Laura Schmidt, Dave (Val), Phil (Cindy) and Steve Lehner. Proud grandpa of Kyle Schmidt, Nick Lehner, Emily Lehner, Karina Schmidt, Michael Lehner, Jake Lehner and Nate Lehner. Brother-in-law of Donald and Maryann Voigt. Further survived by son-in-law Steve Schmidt, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Joe and Tess Lehner.

Visitation Wednesday February 8 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Visitation on Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community 9520 W. Forest Home Ave. - Hales Corners from 10:00am until 10:45am with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Milwaukee Rescue Mission or The Salvation Army appreciated.

Ron was a graduate of Marquette University Business School and the City Assessor for the City of Greenfield. He was the President of the Greenfield Jaycees, President of the Whitnall School Board, Vice-President of Intl. Assoc. of Assessing Officers and President of WAAO. He was an avid golfer, loved coaching Little League, jazz enthusiast, Super fan for all of his grandchildren's sporting events and to all local and statewide sports teams.
