(nee Amrhein) Of Whitefish Bay, entered into Eternal Life on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife and best friend for nearly 54 years of the late Robert C. Beck, Jr. Loving mother of Robert J. (Bernadette) and William J. (Marlene) Beck. Proud grandmother of Alexander, Magdalene, William, Jr., John, Megan, and Jennifer. Dear sister of Flora (late Thomas) Kennedy, Joseph Amrhein, and Paul (Marie-France) Amrhein. Treasured sister-in-law of Barbara (the late Harold) Nelson, the late Martin (Carol) Beck, James (Sue) Beck, and the late William Beck. In addition to her parents (Peter and Eugenia - nee Hausmann), she was preceded in death by her siblings Aloysius Amrhein, Reverend Peter Amrhein, Sister M. Rita Amrhein, SSE, Angela Burzynski (late Robert) Hanson (late Ervin), Conrad (Betty) Amrhein, Eugenia (late Alfred) Gutkowski, and Therese Amrhein. Further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Mary proudly served at the Whitefish Bay Library for over 17 years. She also served for many years at St. Monica’s Church on its Choir, Altar Society, Eucharistic Ministers group, Sister Parish Meal Program, and Antique Show.  In addition, Mary was an active member of the Ladies of Charity and the Cenacle Retreat Program.

The family will receive friends at ST. MONICA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5601 N. Santa Monica Blvd. in Whitefish Bay on Friday, April 7 from 10 AM until 11:45 AM with the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 12:00 Noon.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 9401 W. Donges Bay Rd. in Mequon. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary’s name may be directed to The Discalced Carmelite Friars of Holy Hill, Inc. www.holyhill.com .
