Mary E. Adams (nee Buckholt) went home to the Lord surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the age of 79. She is survived by her children Wanda (Don) Maroo, Wendy (Dex) Fritz, Marcie (Matt) Wunderlin, and Kim (Bob) Hannan; her grandchildren Greg (Melisa) Maroo, Amanda (Josh) Kuntzelman, Andy (Allison) Maroo, Jake (Andrea) Maroo, Dan (Crystie) Maroo, Molly (Josh) Mishler, Aimee (Jaime) Gutierrez, Shawn Fritz, Cory Fritz, David Adams, Cheyenne Strasburg, Kierra Nehls, Maison Nehls, Nathan Wunderlin, Erin Wunderlin, Megan Wunderlin, Elizabeth Hannan, and Nathan Hannan; 28 great grandchildren; her siblings Sherry (Richard) Hunkins, Brenda (Kenny) Batten, Taffy (Harold) Morgan, and Jay Buckholt; and longtime friends Kathy Loehr and Carol Dahlman. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband David Adams, her parents Floyd and Nellie Buckholt; and her siblings David Buckholt, Elaine Oldakowski, Gerald Buckholt, Audrey Murray, Nancy Degler, Debbie Morgan, and Bruce Buckholt.

Visitation will be held from 4 PM until 7 PM on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 121 S Cross St, Oconomowoc. A second visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11 AM on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Grace Bible Church, 1240 S Silver Lake St, Oconomowoc. Burial to follow at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia.
