Peter Foster Davel. “Pete”, Of Menomonee Falls, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Saturday July 13th 2019 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Barbara (Nee Hilber). Dear Dad of Tabatha Rangel, Jeffrey (Jennifer)Davel and Amanda (Alex)Leonard. Proud “Boppa” of Gavin Rangel, Isaac Davel, Ellora Rangel, Clara Davel and Tessa Leonard.

Brother of Paula ( Rick ) Fredrickson, and Dana (Pat) Sill. In laws—Connie Hilber, jennie Hilber, Gerrie (Don) Price, Duane (Cindi) Hilber, Linda Degenhardt, Dianne (Doug) Hempel, Lori (Tony) Ried, Tammy (David)Null, and Doug (Penny) Hilber.  Pete will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. 

Pete was preceded in Death by his Father Paul Ambrose Davel and his Mother Patricia Foster Davel, Brother Scott Davel, Father in law Alex Hilber, Mother in law Lucille Hilber, Brother in laws Alex and Thomas Hilber and Thomas Degenhardt.

Pete was a man of many talents. He worked as an IT specialist for many years. He loved Golfing, traveling, wood carving, model railroading, stamp and coin collecting, and working in the yard tending to his rose bushes.  But, above all, he loved his family best. Most of all, he enjoyed his grandkids, acting as a kid himself when playing with them.  From age 19, down to age 3, he still enjoyed ‘playing’ with all of them. 

Pete will be greatly missed but will live on in all our hearts.

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday July 21st at the funeral home from 4:00 until 6:45pm. A vigil prayer will follow at 7:00. A memorial Mass will be held Mon July 22 at 11:00, with a gathering to be held from 10:00 to 10:45 at Good Shephard Catholic Church N88 W17658 Christman Road Menomonee Falls, WI. 53051.

In lieu of flowers memorial to the MS society or the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
