Wayne is survived by his beloved wife Barbara (nee Croft); his loving daughters, Lisa (Pat) Flintrop and Pam (Gary) Schmit; his cherished grandchildren, "Jen Bob" (Nathan) McKiver, "Joe Bubba" (Caitlin) Geiger, "Ally Bug" (Aaron) Parris and Petty Officer Third Class USN Garrick "Icky" Schmit; 5 active great grandsons; 4 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law - who loved Wayne as a brother; dear friend, John Geiger - who was very special in Wayne's life; other relatives and friends. Wayne is preceded in death by his son, James Wayne Braatz.

Visitation will be held on Wed. Oct. 23, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Wauwatosa, from 2 PM until time of Memorial Service at 3:30 PM. Memorials made to the Sisters of the Divine Savior are deeply appreciated.
