Marlyn Julia Marlette was called home by her Lord and Savior on August 31, 2020 at the age of 85.
Marlyn was born on April 12th, 1935 to Herman and Helen Biederstedt in Chicago, Illinois.
After graduating from high school, Marlyn met the love of her life, LeRoy Marlette. They dated for 3 years and wed on June 30th, 1956, going on to have two children, Michael in 1957, and Susan in 1962. The Marlette’s lived in Park Ridge, IL, Whitewater Lake, WI and wintered in New Port Richey, FL.
Marlyn dedicated her life to be a loving mother and wife, also supporting Leroy working in his business ventures. She enjoyed being around friends and family, traveling, boating and reading. She loved her Green Bay Packers and never missed a game.
Marlyn was predeceased by her mother and father, husband LeRoy and son Michael. She is survived by her daughter Susan, son-in-law Todd, four grandchildren; Jesse, Jennifer, Jamie and Abigail and six great grandchildren; Gage, Ethan, Nolan, Luca, Amelia, and Lydia. We will miss her greatly.
A private memorial service will be held on Friday, September 11 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Oconomowoc.
