Paul John Gray was born Feb 21, 1960 in Mequon, WI. He passed away June 1, 2021 at the age of 61 at his home in Saukville surrounded by his loving family and under the compassionate care of his wife, Jeanne T Gray (nee Kraniak). He was the beloved husband, best friend and soul mate to Jeanne for 39 years. He was preceeded in death by his parents Gerald Edward Gray, Helen Ann Gray and sister Dawn Gray.  He was a brother to Gerald Gray (John Robles) Lynn (Miles) Vandermolen and Bruce Gray.    Paul was a Father to Patrick Gray and Stepfather to Christopher Small and Benjamin Small (Bethany). Grandfather and loving Guardian to Jaedyn and Ian Small and Grandfather to Parker and Skylar Small.  Paul was an Uncle and a very special brother in law to further family. 

Paul was born with a congenital heart defect and was one of the first pediatric open heart surgeries at St Lukes hospital in 1969. He beat the odds and survived only to have another open heart surgery again at age 37. He was a true fighter. 

Paul loved the time he spent with his family working in the garden and on home improvement projects. He also loved to cook. He had a very special bond and love for dogs and they were a constant presence through his life. Paul and his family enjoyed many summer camping trips out west in the Rockies and it became a truly special place for the family.

The memories of Paul will be truly cherished and he will be greatly missed by many. 

A visitation will be held at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Mequon on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021 from 3:30 pm -5:30 pm with Memorial Service at 5:30 pm.
