MENOMONEE FALLS- Long-time resident of Wauwatosa.  Beloved husband of the late Lorraine (nee Cassidy). Dear father of Cindy (Steve) Wrick, Robert Elmer and Donna Lawrenz.  Loving grandfather of Sara Elmer, Anne Elmer, Jacob Elmer, Stephan Lawrenz and Lorraine Lawrenz; and two great-grandchildren, Jaylyn and Jordin Elmer. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by his parents, Alois and Erna Elmer; his brothers, Robert Ellmer and Roland Elmer; and his wife, Lorraine.

Don was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War and retired as a Deputy Sheriff from Milwaukee County in 1988 after 33 years of service.
