Jim was welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Lord June 6th, 2021 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of 59 years to Janice (nee McDermid). Loving father of Jeffrey (Christine), Lawrence (Sheri) and Jill (Jeffrey) Last. Devoted grandfather of Anthony James (Ashley) Bushner, Samantha (Ross) Haddock, Lauren (Kevin) Harkin, Zachary Last and Ian Bushner, and great-grandfather of Cole Thomas Harkin. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Jim was an instrumental teacher at the Shorewood Schools for 34 years. He was involved in bargaining for teachers’ salaries and was a member of the WEA and NEA.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 7600 N. Port Washington Rd., Fox Point, Friday, June 11th, at 11:00 am with a visitation from 10:00 am until time of Mass. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
