Phyllis M. Schuppel
December 17, 1959 - September 7, 2021

Phyllis Mary Schuppel (nee Gehl) passed away on September 7, 2021 surrounded by her loving husband and children. She was born on December 17, 1959 to Albert and Dorothy Gehl (nee Pederson). Phyllis married her high school sweetheart William A. Schuppel on May 26, 1979. They built their forever home in Slinger, WI on the family hobby farm, where they raised their three children and created a lifetime of memories.

Over her lifetime, Phyllis held numerous jobs, but the two she was most proud of was being a mom and wife. She took pride in being “class mom” for all three kids, making Halloween costumes and never missing a Tae Kwon Do tournament or baseball game. She always made sure to send her husband off with three kisses and a homemade lunch. In her spare time, Phyllis enjoyed cooking and baking as well as canning vegetables from her garden with Bill and relaxing with her most loved puppy, Ella May. She also enjoyed many camping trips, but especially loved it when the grandkids came along. Her grandkids brought her so much joy and happiness.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, William A. Schuppel; daughters, Jodi (Kevin) Staus of Colgate, Rachel (John) Hoch of Colgate, and son Ross (Kayla) Schuppel of Slinger; 4 grandchildren, Haleigh Yesko, Jacob Staus, Marysa Hoch and soon to be Baby Schuppel; as well as many relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her in-laws Bobblin and Ruby Schuppel.

The Schuppel family extends their appreciation to the staff at DaVita Dialysis of Menomonee Falls.

Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with Phyllis’ arrangements. Per her wishes, no service will be held.
