Henrietta Clara "Nettieā€ Teresinski
September 20, 1937 - April 29, 2022

Henrietta Teresinski (nee Weide) of West Allis, WI passed away peacefully at the age of 84, on April 29, 2022 in Port Charlotte, FL.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald, and Sisters Gertrude and Mildred.  Beloved mother of Mark (Deborah) and James (Karin).  Proud and loving grandmother of Brian (Elizabeth) Teresinski and Jamie (Nathan) Wagner.  Great-grandmother to Evan and Alex Wagner, and Cameron Teresinski.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

Henrietta was born on September 20, 1937 in West Allis, Wisconsin to the late Henry J. and Emily R. (nee Gerth) Weide.  She was married on August 30, 1958, to Donald Teresinski at Saint Rita’s church in West Allis.

As a young girl, her free time was filled with summer softball and winter speed skating.  After marriage, Henrietta was involved for a number of years with the West Allis – West Milwaukee Recreation Department where, among other things, she assisted with the construction and painting of scenery for Boys and Girls Club plays.  Painting soon developed into a lifelong hobby for her.  Henrietta loved camping!  As a founding family of the West Allis Nite Owls family camp group, she took great pleasure in the weekend getaways with the group.  She also loved camping at our many National Parks.  She was a lover of the Disney characters and their stories, attending kids sporting events, bowling and, of course, the Green Bay Packers.  Knitting and crocheting was another hobby of hers and for many years she could be found assisting the seniors in the knitting group at the Village at Manor Park.  In 1984, Henrietta was part of the founding of Candy Cane Lane and for over 12 years she could be spotted most December evenings braving the cold and snow collecting donations for the MACC Fund.

Visitation will be at Vernon Lutheran Church, S90W27550 National Ave, Mukwonago on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 10 AM until the time of Memorial Service at 11:30 AM.  Private burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the MACC Fund in Henrietta’s name.
