Irene P. Mutter
March 18, 1951 - May 10, 2022

Of Burlington. Passed away on May 10, 2022, at the age of 71. Her parents Robert and Marion, her sister Cynthia, and her brothers John and Peter precede Irene in death. Irene is the loving sister of Diana (the late Richard) Stroud, Darlene (Fred) Loomis, Yvonne (the late David) Kortendick, Robert Mutter, Nita (the late Duane) Nicholson, Mark Mutter, Rebecca (Ron Chimka) Piper, Anthony (JoAnne Fell) Mutter, Amy (John) Nikolai, and Bradley Mutter. She is further survived by many nieces & nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation at the Funeral Home (930 Main St., Mukwonago) on Saturday June 11, 2022, from 11:00AM until the time of Memorial Service at 12:30PM.

Beyond her selfless spirit, Irene had a love of spending time outdoors. Her nieces and nephews were among the people Irene helped teach her appreciation of nature through fishing and camping adventures. She was also well known for her appreciation of arts and crafts. Most famously of her crafts was her Christmas village. Her ever-growing village featured the Mutter family home in Waterford, her longtime workplace of NEL, and other local waypoints. Friends, family, and coworkers all came to appreciate her handcrafted work - which became a yearly Christmas destination. In her younger years, Irene was known as the talented catcher on NEL's softball team and as an avid bowler. Later in life, she spent much of her time with her beloved Chiweenie, Quinn. Her friends and family will most miss Irene for her kindness, selfishness, and appreciation for the simple things in life.
