Lillian Elizabeth Pipia
August 13, 1931 - May 12, 2022

(Nee Johnson) died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday May 12, 2022 at the age of 90. She is preceded in death by her husband Isadore “Tony” Pipia, her parents, William and Mollie Johnson, her sister, Marian and brother, Frank. She is survived by her son Andrew Pipia and daughter Lucy (James) Stark. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Matthew (Stacey) Stark, Jeffrey (Michelle) Stark, Sandra (John Gorman) Stark, Lisa (Bryan James) Stark, and Emily (Joseph) Kral, and nine great-grandchildren: Cecelia, Lillyan, Amalia, Hannah, Louisa, Sophia, Jack, Cody, and JT. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

The family wants to thank her longtime doctors, Dr. Pamela Ogor and Dr. Thomas Mahn, and her visiting nurse, Liliana Zamudio, who brightened her final months.

Lillian was an avid sports fan (Packers, Brewers, Bucks) and highly skilled in crafts, such as knitting, crocheting and needlepoint.   We all have many treasured pieces. The loss of Nana seems insurmountable to us. We hope and pray for the strength she showed during family difficult times. Her ability to always put a positive spin on a negative situation was inspirational.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 23, from 9:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at ST PIUS X CATHOLIC PARISH, 2506 N Wauwatosa Ave. Procession to Holy Cross Cemetery for Interment will follow.

As Nana would always say: See you later alligator. After while crocodile!
