Born and raised in Sault Ste Marie, MI.  Raised her family in Milwaukee. Spent her later years in West Bend. Resided in Estero, FL for her last year.

Beloved wife of the late David Tibbetts. Dear mother of Joan (Dale) Zanskas of Wauwatosa and Greg (Karen) Tibbetts of Estero, FL.  Adored grandma of Dean (Haley) Zanskas, Drew Zanskas (fiancée, Nataley Neuman), Devin Zanskas and Zach (Kelly) Tibbetts. Sweet great grandma of Fischer, Elsie (and one-on-the-way) Zanskas. Janet is survived by other relatives and friends.

Janet was a dedicated employee of Marquette Electronics/GE Medical.

She enjoyed a simple lifestyle with her husband, Dave, especially enjoying going out to eat and just spending time together. Her steadfast devotion was evident when Dave came down with Multiple Sclerosis.

Joining a social group in West Bend was her savior when she became a widow at 63 years old.  She made many close friendships and enjoyed activities such as Friday fish fries, day trips, US and international travel, birthday and holiday parties, book club, walking, biking and snowshoeing.

Family and friends were of top value to her.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is now at peace, rejoining her loving husband Dave and her parents, George and Mae Faunt in heaven.

Visitation will be at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10121 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa  on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 9:30 – 11:00 A.M. with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M.
