Passed away October 25, 2022, surrounded by her loving and devoted family at the age of 91. Reuniting with her one and only Ever-Loving husband, Adolf. Loving mother of Henry and Christine. Dear mother-in-law to Chris and Patricia. Proud and loving Oma to Alexandra, Keelan (Mandy), Kristoph (Cora), Kirsten (Sean), and Katrin. Ecstatically proud “Ur Oma” to Isley and Emorie as well as honorary “Ur Oma” to Oliver. Loving Tante to Linda (Tom), Christa (Steve), Erika (Brad), Sandra, Susanne (Felix) and their children. Cousin to Wilfried (Ingeborg), their children Annette (Tom), Karin (Jim) and their children. Sister in law to Heiner and Elke. Further survived by other relatives in the US, Canada and Germany.

Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Hedwig and her brother Bruno.

Visitation will be held at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls, Monday, November 7, 2022 4:30-6:30pm. Service at 6:30 pm.

Private burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park.                                               

Ingrid was a proud and active member of the German community, volunteering many happy years at Germanfest. She was a very proud, 58 year member and past President of Klub der Pommern Milwaukee and a 32 year member of The Milwaukee Damenchor along with being a past member of the Rheinischer Verein Gruen-Weiss. She made lifelong friendships through those clubs which she treasured and spoke of often.
