(nee Ettmayer) Of Sussex. Was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2022 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Adam. Dedicated and nurturing mother of Frank and the late Joseph Bittner. Beloved sister of the late Konrad (the late Katarina) Ettmayer, the late Anton (the late Katherine) Ettmayer, Theresa (the late Helmut) Rohmann, John (Joan) Ettmayer and Elizabeth (Edward) Stefl. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many, many dear friends.

Maria was also a long time member of the United Donauschwaben of Milwaukee and head cook for 55 years of the club. She was a member of the Senior Donauschwaben Club and Frauengruppe. She served for 30 years as Food Captain for Germanfest.

Visitation Friday, December 9 at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, W220N6588 Town Line Rd, Menomonee Falls, from 9:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
