Daniel James Brede, 62, went to be with his wife and Jesus on February 18, 2023 at his home in East Troy, WI. He was the beloved husband of Linda Suzanne Brede. They were blessed with 37 years of marriage and now will enjoy the rest of eternity together.
Born in Milwaukee, WI at St. Mary’s Hospital, he was the son of James and Joan Brede. He had many skills and worked in construction for many years, had his own businesses, and was also a truck driver for American TV & Appliance.
He came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on November 19, 1992. This decision changed his life forever and the course of his family. His family is comforted knowing that he’s now enjoying a perfect body free from all sickness and pain. He has been reunited with his dear wife whom he loved so much, and they will be together in Jesus’ presence forever. His favorite activity was spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, and friend. He loved Jesus most of all! But he also enjoyed family vacations, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping, collecting antiques, going to rummage sales, operating construction equipment, playing chess, cooking and eating good food, reading his Bible, talking about Jesus, telling stories and jokes, and so much more! We will miss his humor and optimism which could always bring a smile to our faces! All who knew him was impacted by his overwhelming generosity and love for people and Jesus. We all loved him so much! Dad endured much physically during his lifetime, but he has finally made it to his finish line in glory with Mom!
He is survived by his children Britney (Francisco Torres) and Beau, his grandchildren Brian Eliszewski (Erin), Luke Eliszewski, Zach Eliszewski, and Bella Torres, and his brother Jerry Brede (Petra). He was preceded in death by his dear wife Linda, his parents James and Joan Brede, his sister Kathy Moat, and his son Timothy.
In respect and honor of his prior wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
