Went Home to the Lord on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Becker) for 63 years. Loving father of Lee (Cathie) Weber and Todd Weber. Cherished grandfather of Lindsey, Jacob, Braden, Payton and Mason. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Irene, and brother Terry.

Jim was a proud US Army Veteran. He enjoyed his time with family at their “T Bone Ranch” cabin in Babcock, WI. Shirley and Jim were very active charter members at Peace Lutheran Church in Sussex, WI.

Visitation will be at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home – Sussex (W250 N6505 Hwy 164) on Saturday, March 18 from 2PM until time of a Prayer Service at 4:45PM. Jim’s Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, March 19 at 10:30AM at Peace Lutheran Church; W240 N6145 Maple Ave; Sussex. Please meet directly at Church. Burial and Military Honors will take place at St. Paul’s UCC Church Cemetery in Colgate, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim’s name to Peace Lutheran Church and Academy are greatly appreciated.
