Found peace on March 15, 2023, at the age of 74.  Loving husband of Kathy.  A caring brother to Dave (Laura) Hignite and Christine Hignite.  Proud uncle to Adam Hignite. He is further survived by other family and friends. He is reunited with his beloved canine companion Bandit.

 

Jerry battled severe health issues but despite the pain, he faced his medical challenges courageously without complaints.

 

Jerry retired due to disability from Broan Manufacturing after 30 years as a forklift driver.  During his spare time, he enjoyed camping, boating, fishing on Big Cedar and "Up North" renting a cabin in Vilas County for many years with Kathy and Bandit.  Jerry took pride in his lawn care and plantings, buzzing around the yard in his riding mower.  He loved spending time with his nephew Adam.

 

Private services were held. At rest Washington County Memorial Park.

 

The family would like to thank Dr. Eric Weber with whom Jerry had a long relationship, and the staff at Froedtert-Menomonee Falls and Horizon Hospice for their excellent care.
