(nee Szudajski). Cathy suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on May 15, 2023 after having successfully completed treatment for cancer. Dear wife of James of 31 years and dear mother of Jennifer. Cathy is also survived by her brother Thomas Szudajski, sister Connie Kabitzke, brother-in-law Dr. Thomas (Nancy) Plank, sister-in-law Lynnette (Clifford) Bojack, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Virginia (nee Kordus), sister Christine Calvert, and brother Richard Szudajski.

Cathy graduated from Alverno College and had worked in the banking industry as a business analyst. She was an avid reader, crafter, and well-known baker and supplier of Christmas cookies to her neighbors. Cathy loved to attend plays, concerts, and travel. She also enjoyed her gardens, volunteer work, and visiting the Milwaukee County Zoo.  Cathy loved dogs, especially her beagle Jessie and two crazy terriers Bailey and Zoey.

She always put others first. Cathy was able to give the gift of organ donation after her passing.

Visitation to be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 3:00-5:30p, followed by a service at 5:30p at Schmidt & Bartelt in Menomonee Falls.
