(nee Liepitz) Went Home to the Lord on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Richard for 50 years. Loving mother of Heather Culli, Kari Klatt, Kelly (Nick) Dummann, and Holly Klatt. Cherished grandma of Rachel, Nathan and Leah Culli and Justin and Zachary Dummann. Dear sister of Becky (James) Spitzack, Philip (Gail) Liepitz and Jennifer (Neil) Smedema. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Beatrice Liepitz.
Kathy had a natural gift for connecting with others. Whether she was working in credit analysis, retail, or volunteering at church, she had a welcoming spirit. Her first and most important friendship was with her Savior, Jesus, and His love shone through to everyone she met. She lived a life of service and generosity and she loved volunteering at church with Vacation Bible School, choir, and in various other roles. She was a generous and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother and her deep impact of love and faith will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Visitation will be on Sunday, September 24 from 1:30PM until time of Memorial Service at 3PM at Brookfield Lutheran Church; 18500 W. Burleigh Rd., Brookfield.
