Of Menomonee Falls, went home to heaven on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the age of 91 years. John was born on January 19, 1932, a son of the late Edgar and Emily (nee Fisk) Eldredge. He joyfully served many patients over the years as the community Pharmacist of Loppnow Pharmacy, in Thiensville.  On September 3, 1982, he married his best friend and the love of his life, Sara McFadzen, in Green Lake, WI. Together, they raised their family and built their home in Menomonee Falls. John was a kind and giving man. He was devoted to his faith in God and was a longtime member of Emmanual United Methodist Church. He was also an active member of the Rotary Club. As an avid UW Badgers fan, he was able to manage the team, and continued faithfully watching their games right up to the very end.  John enjoyed playing a good round of golf or a game of bridge. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, friends, and especially his wife, Sara, who he took great pride in faithfully caring for. John proudly served our country in the United States Army.

John will be dearly missed by his wife, Sara; children, Jeffrey (Mindy) Eldredge, Scott Eldredge, Maggie (Rock) Bottomley, John (Lori) Lachman, Courtney Langbauer, Launie (Robert) Lindemann; grandchildren, Matthew (Kathleen), Amelia, Rachel, Leah (Bryan), Kalea, Maxwell, Lauren, Luke, and Charlie; great-grandson, Bennett. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Barry Eldredge; and brothers, James, Robert, and Richard.

The visitation for John will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 10AM until the time of the 11AM memorial service with military honors, at Emmanuel Community United Methodist Church, N84 W16707 Menomonee Ave., Menomonee Falls, WI 53051.
