Brian Earl Waldeck passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on Monday, July 8, 2024, at home with family.  

Brian was a man of Great Faith and devoted to his late wife and family and also enjoyed the outdoors.  

Brian was born on June 5,1941 to Alfred and Lorraine in Milwaukee.   After he graduated from Rufus King High School, Brian served  in the United States Army as an Army MP.  He then started his first job at NCR as a Field Engineer.  Brian was also active in theater and dance, and fell in love with his dance instructor Sherri, at Fred Astaire, who became his lovely wife on April 27th, 1968.  Brian and Sherri went on to have one child, Jeffrey Scott Waldeck. When Brian retired he enjoyed spending his time outdoors and later became the primary caregiver for his wife during her last days.  

Brian was predeceased by Father: Alfred Waldeck and Mother: Lorraine Waldeck as well as wife: Sherri Waldeck.  Brian is survived by his son Jeff (Teresa) as well as siblings; Lee Waldeck and Craig Waldeck. He was also blessed with two bonus granddaughters; Alyssa and Valerie Abel.

Visitation will be held Saturday July 20, 2024 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home 121 S. Cross St. Oconomowoc from 1pm until time of service at 2pm followed by Military Honors. He will be laid to rest privately with his wife Sherri at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
