Found peace on October 28, 2024. Age 67 years. Debra was born in Milwaukee, WI on April 18, 1957 and graduated from Custer High School. Debra was married to her best friend, the late William "Bill" on October 20, 1984. They were married for 32 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley M. (nee Sweitzer) Firnges and Gordon E. Firnges. Loving sister of Marsha (nee Firnges) (the late Frederick J.) Hammer.

She is also survived by her extended family: Lois Schmatzhagen, Carylee Hammer, Colette Thiel, Dennel (Roy) Meinzer, and Michael (Julie) Paschke. Sister-in-law of Christine Lietz, the late David (Chintana) Carson, Michael (Susan) Carson, and the late James Carson. Cousin of Gary Firnges and family. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many good friends including roommate Dan Hogan and special dog, Ginger. She was preceded in death by her sweet and loving dogs, Racal, Blackie, and Gigi.

Visitation for Debra will be held on Saturday November 2, 2024 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 11 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation or the Wisconsin Humane Society are appreciated.
