Jan Bushner, aged 84 years, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Minnie McDermid; siblings Lawrence, Beverly and Douglas McDermid; and loving husband, James Anthony Bushner in 2021. She is survived by her devoted sons, Jeffrey James [wife Christine] Bushner and Lawrence Matthew [wife Sheryl] Bushner, and her loving daughter, Jill Marie [husband Jeffrey] Last; grandchildren Toni Bushner [wife Ashley], Samantha Bushner, Ian Bushner [fiancée Megan], Lauren (Bushner) Harkin [husband Kevin], and Zachary Last; great-grandson Cole Harkin; and siblings Sally (McDermid) Ariens, and Sara (McDermid) O’Neil, as well as many nieces and nephews who will miss “Aunt Tootie” dearly.

Jan was a determined and capable woman, from her FBI dispatcher days to her administrative duties at the Whitefish Bay High School Media Center; such commitment was only surpassed by her tireless care of her family. Jan was a fierce friend and affectionate mother and grandmother with unwavering devotion.

Visitation Saturday December 28 from 10:00am until time of funeral eulogy at 11:15am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. All will be held at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 7600 N. Pt. Washington Rd., Fox Point. Private entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
