Kathryn Naukkari of Waterford passed away peacefully at Angels Grace in Oconomowoc, WI, on Friday, December 13th, 2024, at the age of 89. Kathryn was born in Mukwonago, WI, on February 21st, 1935, the daughter of Wilber and Dorothy (nee Bernau) Mohr. She was the third child of four. On December 21st, 1957, Kathryn married her Best Friend Robert E. Naukkari of West Allis. They were married for 59 years until Bob’s passing in 2017.

Kathryn graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and was a teacher and swim coach after graduation. In her spare time, Kathryn really enjoyed golf. Both she and Bob were long-time members of Rivermoor Golf Club in Waterford, WI. Kathryn also really enjoyed doing volunteer work of all kinds, but her favorite was golfing events and the Channel 10 auction. Over the years, she also did a lot of traveling. Kathryn loved spending time with her family.

She is loved and will forever be missed. Beloved wife to the late Robert (Bob) Naukkari for 59 years; mother of 2: Jodi A. Hanna, James (Cathy) Naukkari; Grandmother of 5: Ashley (Jake) Konkol, Jared (Caroline) Naukkari, Amanda Naukkari (Fiancé Bob), Alison Naukkari and Hanah Naukkari (Fiancé Tim); Great-Grandmother of 3: JoAnna, Kennedy, and Baylor with another one arriving early next year.

Kathryn is further survived by her sisters Marilyn Craig and Vivian Nortan, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her husband Bob, Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents Wilber and Dorothy (Bernau) Mohr, daughter Jodi A. Hanna, and sister Barbara Hall.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home 930 Main St. Mukwonago, WI. Private burial on January 13th.
