Entered into eternal life on January 26, 2025 at the age of 82. Loving husband of Mary for 58 years. Beloved father to Brad (Marianne), Dan (Veronica) and the late Douglas. Loving grandfather to Daniel (Gibby), Kathryn "Katie" Baker and great grandfather to Lucy. Brother-in-law of Anne (Jim) Rowe. Preceded in death by his parents William and Jane Baker and his sister Betsy. Further survived by other family and friends.

Jim's favorite times were spent with his family, and his church family as a founding member of Divine Redeemer. He enjoyed tennis, golf, boating and fishing with his many friends and family. Jim is now signing in the Heavenly Choir. Jim was a national sales manager for Compx Security Products for his entire career. 

Visitation will be held Saturday February 1, 2025 at Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church 31385 W. Hill Road (Hwy 83) Hartland from 12pm until time of service at 2pm. Private interment will be held at LaBelle Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers Jim's family is establishing a scholarship in his name with the Christian Athletic Scholarship Foundation.
