Frank is preceded in death by his parents Matthew and Barbara Hartay.
Frank was a hardworking family man who was a loving husband to Karen and devoted dad to Jennifer and Jeanna. He loved being a grandfather aka “Bubba” and was an active part of his grandchildren’s lives from the time they were born. Frank was active and kept a full calendar.
Frank was the proud owner of Germantown Auto Body in Germantown, WI and became a known name in the area. He loved everything that had to do with cars and NASCAR. Frank also found a passion for all things “old” and became quite the antique collector, buyer, and seller over the years. Frank and Karen made a side business out of this and loved telling the endless stories of finding a great “steal.” On the weekends, you could find him at estate sales, antiquing, and rummaging for antique tools. He made many friends along the way in both the auto body and antiques business. Frank also loved a good card game, trips to Las Vegas with his wife, maintaining his meticulously kept yard, hanging out at the antique mall, babysitting his daughter’s dogs, and of course, spending time with his family. Most of all, Frank loved his wife and best friend Karen, and is undoubtedly happy and at peace to be reunited with her on the other side.
