Passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the age of 57. Loving father of Lucas (Kaylin) Nuss, Samantha (Sidney) Schuyler, Mackenzie Nuss and Payton Nuss. Cherished grandfather of Ella and Lola Nuss. Special former spouse of Doreen Nuss. Loving brother of Rich (Brenda) Nuss, Peggy (Rob) Schmidt and Cherry Nuss. Beloved uncle of RJ, Amanda, Wyatt, Abby, Sarah, Hannah and Herman. Andy is further survived by other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Herman and Diana Nuss.

Andy—a beloved father, cherished friend, and a light in so many lives. Andy’s heart was as big as his presence, and his impact stretched far and wide. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, forming a circle of friendships that truly had no boundaries.

As a devoted father, Andy poured his love into his family, offering unwavering support, laughter, and warmth that will be treasured forever. To his friends, he was the one who always showed up, always found the humor in every situation, and always left people better than he found them. Andy had a gift for making people laugh, bringing joy to even the hardest moments, and reminding us all how precious those small, happy memories are.

Andy lived life with a full heart—loving deeply, laughing freely, and impacting many. While his absence leaves a tremendous void, the legacy of his kindness, humor, and love will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 11 from 4PM – 6:45PM with Memorial Service at 7PM at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home – Sussex; W250 N6505 Hwy 164.
