Nancy Ann Goodreau
November 24, 1949 - June 19, 2025

Nancy Goodreau passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2025, after a courageous 3-year battle with illness. Born on November 24, 1949, to Lee and Carol Fischer, Nancy lived a life rooted in love, compassion, and dedication to others.

Nancy married the love of her life, Norbert Goodreau, in 1970, and together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, family, and shared adventures. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Kristopher Goodreau (2019) and her parents, Lee and Carol Fischer, mother-in-law Helen Sharon and sisters in law Connie Goodreau and Karen Goodreau.

She is survived by her son Patrick Goodreau and his wife Michele Goodreau, her daughter-in-law Jolene Goodreau, cherished grandchildren Amber (Garret), Austin, Aidan, Hunter (Daniela), Nathan (Betsy), and Logan, and great-granddaughter Harper, who brought her immense joy. She also leaves behind her loving siblings, extended family members, friends, and her loyal dog Roxy.

After graduation from Tosa East HS and Alverno College, Nancy had a compassionate heart for service to others, especially children. She spent many years caring for others as a nurse at Lakeview Hospital and later as the director of We Welcome Inn Daycare, and Kinder Haus. Her kindness, warmth, and sense of humor touched countless lives.

She will be remembered for her unwavering support, her gentle spirit, her resilience in the face of adversity and the wisdom she generously shared. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched, and in the many lives she helped shape through her example of grace and integrity. Her presence brightened every room, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She had an innocent yet witty sense of humor and loved a good laugh, especially when playing Cards Against Humanity with her family. Nancy found joy in the simple pleasures: baking during the holidays, hosting family gatherings, and playing poker with loved ones. Though she was a devoted Hallmark Channel fan, she learned to love baseball alongside her husband.

Nancy’s legacy is one of unconditional love, quiet strength, and a life devoted to family and care for others. She will be dearly missed, forever cherished, and always remembered by those who loved her
