Suzanne (Sue) Vande Zande (nee King) (nee Bouchard) (nee Edelblute) passed on into eternal peace on June 25th at the age of 83. 

Born on December 13th 1941 in Antigo, WI to Hollace and Elizabeth King (nee Stewart)

Wife of 37 years to Larry Vande Zande. Mother of Renee Morga (Gerry), Edward Bouchard, Tracy Roehrdanz (Dan), and Kimberly Storey (Dan). Stepmother to Mike Vande Zande (Gwen), Susan Hettenhaus (Brandt), and Trisha Vande Zande (Michael Hochmuth)

Grandmother to Brittany Martin (Tim), Jenna Vande Zande, Ariel Meyer (Braxtyn), Cole Bouchard, Olivia Storey, Mitchell Hettenhaus, Liam Vande Zande, Garrett Vande Zande, Katherine Storey, and Alexis Roehrdanz. 

Great Grandmother to June, Palmer, Sterling, Emersyn, and Rowyn. 

Sue was a very spirited Milwaukee Brewers fan and avid bowler. She bowled on several leagues for the better part of 3 decades. She discovered her artistic side later on in life and you can find her work, specifically mandalas, throughout the Lutheran Home. 

Preceded in death by her parents and siblings Larry, Connie Marciniak, Nancy Schultz, Sandy Presley, and survived by Joel. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 from 10 AM until time of service at noon at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home (10121 W. North Ave). Private family burial to take place. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to the Lutheran Home or charity of your choice.
