JoAnn Franz (Bosshardt) of Germantown went home to the Lord on September 13, 2025, at the age of 84 years. She was born on November 12, 1940, a daughter of Walter and Marion Bosshardt.

Loving mother of Michael “Mike” (Ann), Jim (Christine) and Rick (Chris) Franz. Proud grandma of Heather, Miranda, Kaylee, Jacob, and Gabrianna. Dear sister of Rita (the late Bob) Hooverson. Further survived by other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; second husband, John Moehr, parents, and infant sister, Sandra.

JoAnn held fast to her faith in Jesus. She was a longtime and active member at Northbrook Church, where you might see her smiling face as she greeted you on Saturday or Sunday. Visiting Door County, going boating, and spending time with her boys were times she cherished. JoAnn enjoyed cooking, baking, and occasionally indulging in candies like chocolate, taffy or licorice, especially strawberry Twizzlers. She proudly kept her home neat and tidy with her hair and nails done, JoAnn was always ready for a visit from family or friends. Her fun, loving, and gentle spirit will always be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.

The Visitation will be held on September 23, 2025, from 11AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon at Northbrook Church, 4014 Hwy 167 Richfield, WI, 53076.  Private entombment will be at Washington County Memorial Park.
