George D. DeKoning

George Donald DeKoning, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025 at the age of 79. He was born on October 4, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was a longtime resident of Menomonee Falls, where he built a life grounded in loyalty, hard work, and love for his family.

A devoted husband, George shared over 35 years with the love of his life, Debbie (nee Mantyk) DeKoning, marrying in May 2005 after many years of partnership. Together they created a warm and steady home filled with laughter, love, and enduring companionship.

George was the proud father of Dan DeKoning, Doris (Dean) DeidaDino Mantyk, and Nikki (Brian) Trudeau. He was a loving grandfather to six grandchildren—Matthew Deida, Jessica DeKoning, Dino & Kira Regner, and Ava & Aidan Trudeau -- each of whom brought him great joy.

George dedicated more than 40 years of his life to SuperSteel Products, where he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and commitment to getting the job done. When he retired, he left behind a legacy of dedication and respect among his coworkers.

A true Wisconsin sports fan through and through, George rarely missed the chance to cheer on his beloved Packers, Badgers, and Brewers. He will be remembered for his sly humor, steady presence, and the quiet, dependable love he showed throughout his life.

A visitation will be held at Schmidt & Bartelt, N84 W17937 Menomonee Avenue, Menomonee Falls, on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 1-3 pm. The family welcomes all who knew and loved George to join in celebrating his life.
