William S. Talbot
December 1, 1950 - November 29, 2025

Hartland- William "Bill" passed away following a sudden cancer diagnosis. He sailed his ship into port under his own command, and he died peacefully during a beautiful snowfall, surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home.

Bill's boundless optimism and strong work ethic were evident throughout his life. He earned his Eagle Scout rank at an early age, graduated from Marquette University, and went on to own a successful machining business.  Known to his many business partners as “the smiling tank” Bill was a fixture in his industry for nearly a half a century.

He fell in love with Mary after biking past her house as a high-school sophomore. Their strong foundation blossomed into a deep commitment, and for fifty-three years, Bill dedicated himself to being a loving family man. He leaves behind an enduring legacy of compassion and commitment, of laughter, and unwavering love.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; his sons, Ryan (Jennifer) Talbot, Jason (Sandie) Talbot, and Justin (Danika) Talbot; his grandchildren, John, Grace, Tess, Lilly, Sibella, Elodie, and Anna; and his sisters, Janet and Kathleen. He is preceded in death by his parents, Forest and Helen. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends who treasured his presence in their lives.

Visitation will be held from 2 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 3 PM on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Fox River Congregational Church, N34W23575 Capitol Dr, Pewaukee, WI.
