Clara Louise Cooper, 85, passed away at her home in Theresa on November 26 , 2025.  In honoring Clara’s wishes, no formal services will be held. However, a Celebration of life will be announced in Spring 2026. 

Clara was born on August 4, 1940 to Leona (Tegge) and James Cooper in Waukesha, Wisconsin.  She graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee in 1958.  

Prior to Clara’s retirement, she was a US Postal worker for 43 years in the Milwaukee area and a proud mother and grandmother of several military personnel, including the Navy, Coast Guard, Marine Corp and Airforce. 

Clara is survived by her son Daniel (Tamara)Soto, daughters, Margarita Fleter, Virginia (Michael) Stettmier, and Carrie Urban (Wes Lewandowski).  She is further survived by her sister Viola and brother James as well as 15 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Clara is preceded in death by her mother and father, her 5 sisters, Ellen, Garnetta, Irma, Millie, Mary and one brother, Charles  as well as her sons, John and David, grandsons, David Jr. and Nathan and her son-in-laws, Brian Urban and Thomas Fleter.
