Arthur “Topper” Enters, 88, of Okauchee, WI, passed away on February 26, 2026. 

Born December 14, 1937, to parents Bern and Art Enters, Topper was a proud veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy for four years after graduating from Oconomowoc High School.

Following his time in the Navy, Topper was a proprietor of family owned Enters Office Bowl, where he spent much of his time working and honing his bowling skills. Topper then worked as a roofer for over 40 years, owning and operating A.F. Enters Roofing Company. He worked on many of his community’s homes and businesses. 

An avid gardener, Topper was known for his gentle and generous spirit, finding joy in sharing his home-grown vegetables with friends and strangers alike. Along with sharing his vegetables, he loved to share homemade meals and baked goods. Despite his vision deteriorating in the last two decades of his life, Topper maintained his love of reading. 

Topper is survived by his wife of 54 years, Candace Enters, his two daughters, Heather (Robert) Rodriguez and Claire (Nick) Emons, his grandchildren, Hayden Rodriguez, Lauren (Jack) Smith, Quinn Rodriguez, and Nicholas Emons, and many friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his brother John Enters and sister Barbara Schuster. 

A funeral will be held in Oconomowoc on Saturday, March 7 at Schmidt & Bartelt 121 S. Cross St. Oconomowoc, with visitation from 12:00 - 2:00 PM and a service beginning at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Oconomowoc Food Pantry, in memory of Topper’s love of feeding others.
