Eternal life grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her; may her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Our beloved mother, Judy Asma, 90, of Germantown WI, passed away on March 19, 2026 with her family by her side. With a boundless love that was apparent to every person she met, Mom truly was a gentle and humble woman who loved God and her family above all things. Meeting any challenge with kindness and strength, she quietly set an example of a virtuous life well-lived.

Born and raised in Waukegan IL to Herbert and Della Wilson (nee Murry), Judy married Dr. Richard Asma on June 22, 1957 and initially resided in Brown Deer WI where they began a loving family of 9 children. They resided in Mequon WI for 30 years.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who meant everything to her family, and whose family meant everything to her. With every note she sent, every meal she made, every child she cared for, Mom had a way of making each member of her large family feel special and loved beyond measure.

She leaves behind her husband (Richard) to whom she was married for 68 years; children: Vicky (Jim) Hamann, Steve (Mary), Joe (Shirley), Sue (Glenn) Erickson, Ben (Leann), Pete, Catherine (Leo) Moorhead, Ted (Teresa), Julie (Mark) Nornberg; 26 grandchildren (including one deceased); and 16 great-grandchildren (with one on the way). She is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, brother, and son-in-law.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until 10:15 am on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at St. Mary Church (N89W16297 Cleveland Ave, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery (9400 West Donges Bay Rd., Mequon, WI 53092).

Mom, we will dearly miss you! After a lifetime of taking such good care of your family here on earth, we pray now that you can rest in the arms of Jesus in paradise.
