Devoted grandmother of Brett (Tari) Gorzalski, Kyle Gorzalski, Hannah (Nathan) Hilleman, Hailey Gorzalski, Jenny (Sean) Nogalski and Steven (Liz) Monson. Cherished great-grandmother of Isaiah Schmidt, Brayson and Tennison Gorzalski, Cyrus, Cooper, Caine and Collins Nogalski. Dear sister-in-law of Eileen Gorzalski and Nona Gorzalski. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Hattie Mazurkiewicz, sisters Louise Grohall and Anna Mae Danforth, brother Edward “Sonny”, brothers-in-law Jack Gorzalski, Charles Gorzalski and Norbert (Betty) Rusk.

Gloria created a lifetime of cherished memories for her children, grandchildren, and countless friends. Together with her husband, she welcomed everyone into their home with open hearts, where stories were shared, laughter was abundant, and lasting bonds were formed. Their home was a place where all felt special, loved, and included.

Family was at the center of Gloria’s life. Many summers were spent at Lake Beulah, a place she dearly loved, where she enjoyed fishing and swimming. Christmas Eve was a treasured tradition held at her home, bringing together aunts, uncles, and cousins. These gatherings were filled with joy, highlighted by special visits from Santa—one year even arriving by horse and sleigh—creating magical moments that would only later be recognized as truly extraordinary.

Gloria had a gift for bringing people together. Whether hosting large family reunions featuring rotisserie chicken or preparing her signature steak and shrimp with gravy, she made every gathering feel effortless and meaningful. Her Sunday tradition of inviting family over for pork chops and dumplings became a beloved ritual, one she eventually passed down through generations—recipes shared not by measurement, but by instinct and love.

She embraced life’s adventures, including family vacations filled with both challenges and laughter. From mosquito-filled travels across Wisconsin to a memorable trip out West—where their entire family packed into their customized van along with their dog Duke these experiences became treasured family stories.

Gloria embraced life fully and found great joy in raising and showing Siberian Huskies. Through her beloved Timbermist Kennels, she proudly bred and exhibited four bloodline champions, taking special pride in her first champion, Barnee. She gained lasting friendships and cherished memories throughout the years.

Later, she discovered a passion for wood carving and became an amazing award-winning Wild Life Artist.  She created beautiful detailed birds earning numerous awards, including Best in Show. She was a woman of many talents where she crocheted either a table cloth or bedspread for each of her children as a keepsake.

She was a devoted and fun-loving grandmother who delighted in building blanket forts, hosting sleepovers and playing baseball in the living room.  She loved taking them out to lunch to her favorite places like Harvey Moys, DeMarini’s or McDonalds.

She will be remembered as a devoted Mom, a loving Grandma, a caring Aunt, and a loyal friend. Her legacy lives on through the memories she created, the traditions she established, and the love she gave so freely.

Gloria will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

With love always,
