David B. "Dave" Fournier
April 9, 1948 - June 7, 2026

Born to Eternal life on June 7, 2026 at the age of 78 years old.  Beloved husband to Caren for 44 years.  Loving father of Amanda Fournier and Matt (Kristine) Fournier.  Proud grandfather of Jada, Wade, Flynn and Xena Fournier.  Dear brother of Paul (Mary Beth), the late Sister Carol, and Brother of Larry (Sue) Fournier. Dave is survived and will also be missed by his cousin Jeff (Julie) Beam, as well as other relatives and friends.

Dave was well known for his sense of humor, being a “jokester”, being adventurous, a strong individual, a long fighter and most of all his big kind heart. He spent just about every moment doing something he loved whether it was talking/being with family and/or friends, playing with our cat or petting any animal in general, traveling, being with his wife, sneaking sugar and indulging himself in his hobbies such as making models, a stamp collection and a coin collection. Some of his favorite sweets where specifically dark chocolate, and cherries.

Dave’s hobbies were many of his passions but he was also passionate about showing up for his family and being together. He was full of Joy, could bring a smile to anyone’s face wether it was telling a joke, or just speaking his mind. He never hid his joy or his laughter and he frequently had that big grin on his face.

Dave went to MSOE for 2 years and got an associates degree to be a draftsmen where he would come up blue prints for construction projects, drawing them himself. He loved to build things and work with his hands. In his free time, he built hundreds and hundreds of models, from car models to super hero’s such as legends of DC, and marvel to planes and boats, even built a gigantic ship as an anniversary gift. He worked at Wildeck for quite sometime, he even went back after retirement because the boss trusted him the most to take his positions for a few months. In which he re-retired with Caren at their favorite restaurant which was Albanese.

Dave lived a long and beautiful life. He grew up as the oldest child caring and messing around with his two younger brothers Paul and Larry and their late Sister Carol. He did a lot of traveling with his family, on his own, and eventually with his wife Caren. He enjoyed going scuba diving, he absolutely loved water and he loved boats/ships. He took his kids Amanda and Matt to go see sharks in Florida during their younger years. He’s crazy enough to jump out of a plane, by skydiving 3 times. He went to Japan in 2017. He’s traveled to every single state for sure once, most likely twice or more. He’s been to mexico. He’s been about everywhere.

Dave will always be remembered for the jokes he told, the things and food he loved and enjoyed, and by seeing different parts of the world just like he had.
